Man found with gunshot wounds inside Dorchester hotel has died

BOSTON — A man was shot and killed on Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester Monday night, according to police.

The man was found in the lobby of the Ramada hotel and was taken to a hospital with serious injuries shortly before midnight. Boston Police said Tuesday that he later died. He has been identified as 27-year-old Marcus Dunn-Gordon of Randolph.

Police have not released any information about a suspect.

The shooting was reported near the bowling alley at the intersection of Freeport Street and Morrissey Boulevard.
