DEDHAM, Mass. — A Dedham gas station clerk was shot by two masked robbers late Thursday.
Dedham police responded to a 911 call around 10:50 p.m. for a person shot in the convenience store at the Sunoco station on Ames Street. Police said they believe two masked suspects demanded money and then shot the clerk in the leg, according to a statement.
The clerk was transported to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

The two suspects fled the scene, police said in the statement.
Massachusetts State Police are assisting with the investigation. Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area or who has any information to contact the Dedham Police Department at 781-326-1212.
