HYANNIS, Mass. — Authorities have identified the man killed in Hyannis this week.
On Wednesday afternoon, police were called to 362 Yarmouth Road in Hyannis for a report of a physical altercation.
When police arrived, they found 33-year-old Darrell Russ of Hyannis lying on the ground. He was taken to Cape Cod Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was performed and determined Russ died of three gunshot wounds. His death was ruled a homicide.

The investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not commented on any arrests.
