Child who beat cancer raises money, gives up presents for kids with illnesses

An 8-year-old Milton girl is doing anything she can to give back after beating cancer.

Olivia Kociol was diagnosed with pediatric kidney cancer when she was six years old, and her father was diagnosed with a brain tumor shortly after.

The Make A Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island granted Kociol's wish to go to Hawaii with her family, and the 8-year-old then turned her attention to how she could help others.

She started a lemonade stand with her sister, Sophia, to raise money for other children's wishes.

The two even gave up birthday presents and asked their friends to donate to Make A Wish.

On Friday, the girls presented the foundation with a check for $780, to help make wishes come true for other sick children.

Now, Kociol is fortunately in remission, and doing great!
