Brookline Police cite owner of dog that bit mailman

BROOKLINE, Mass. — Brookline Police have cited the owner of a dog that bit a mailman.

The United States Postal Service employee was bit by the dog while making a delivery around 1 p.m. Wednesday to a home on Chestnut Place.

The mailman said after he left a package at the front door, a dog ran out from the corner of the house and bit him on the leg.

The dog is registered. The owner will be cited for the dog’s actions.
