    Tom Brady denied 'Tom Terrific' trademark

    Tom Brady's petition to trademark the name "Tom Terrific" has been denied, according to paperwork form the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. 

    In a letter to attorneys for the Patriots quarterback, the USPTO says "Tom Terrific is the nickname of Tom Seaver."

    Moulton drops out of 2020 race for Democratic presidential nomination

    Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton (D-6th District) has decided to suspend his presidential campaign, according to an interview with the New York Times. 

    Moulton was a long-shot for the nomination, hardly breaking into the poll results throughout his campaign. 

    Patriots safety Patrick Chung charged with cocaine possession in NH

    Patriots safety Patrick Chung has been indicted in New Hampshire on a charge of cocaine possession, a source tells Boston 25 News.

    A Belknap County grand jury indicted the 32-year-old Chung on Aug. 8. Authorities said Chung knowingly possessed cocaine on June 25 while in Meredith.

    Police: 6-8 foot snake on the loose after escaping from Newton property

    Police in Newton are asking the surrounding public to be aware of a six-to-eight-foot snake that went missing from a nearby residence on Tuesday evening.

    The snake is a Burmese python, according to a missing wildlife advisory from the town's police department.
