Body found in crashed, burned-out car in Wareham

WAREHAM, Mass. — A charred body was found in a burned out car along Route 25 in Wareham early Thursday morning, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The car was found around 3 a.m. crashed into a tree, engulfed in flames, police said.

Once the flames were put out, a body was found inside.

The car was found just before exit 2 on Route 25 eastbound.

Police say they are investigating the circumstances of the apparent crash.
