Bicyclist struck, seriously injured in Abington

ABINGTON, Mass. — A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck while riding a bicycle late Monday afternoon, fire officials said.

The accident occurred on High Street near Ashland Street around 5 p.m., according to the Fire Department.

The man was sent to South Shore Hospital. His condition was not known Monday.
