Missing Bellingham woman with autism found safe, police say

BELLINGHAM, Mass. — Bellingham Police announced Friday morning that a previously missing woman with autism was found.

Police say 27-year-old Katie Lovereaud had been last seen running into the wooded area behind the Scott Hill Acres neighborhood around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Based on a police K-9 track, officers believe Lovereaud was last in the area of Maple Brook Road and Old Bridge Lane.

She was wearing black pants, black shoes, and a black Disney Little Mermaid shirt when she was last seen.
