ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- Attleboro Police have released more details on the search for a 73-year-old woman who was reported missing from a nursing home Saturday night, according to the department.

Police say Dorothy Lucas checked herself out of her assisted living facility on George Street Saturday around 1:40 p.m. and was reported missing around 10:30 that night after she did not return.

Lucas is reported to have left the facility with 51-year-old man, Mark Chicoine, of Attleboro, who police say "befriended Lucas while he was visiting another resident at the nursing home."

The pair were traveling in a 2011 white Jeep Patriot with the Massachusetts license plate 573WT7.

Police issued a Silver Alert for her Sunday night. They say Lucas is dependent on insulin for diabetes -- and believe she left without medication -- and could be in an altered mental state due to dementia. Officials say they initially reported Lucas is restricted to a wheelchair but clarified in a Monday news release that she is able to walk.

Attleboro Police say Lucas was seen with Chicoine, shortly after they left together, at the Santander Bank on Park Street in Attleboro, where she "withdrew an undisclosed amount of money."

Police say they have information suggesting the pair may have been in North Kingstown, Rhode Island,  Sunday morning.

According to detectives, the Jeep was spotted on Route 9 in Framingham around 1 p.m. Monday.
