• 66 guns, ammunition found at Milton home after domestic shooting

MILTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Dozens of guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition were found in a Milton home following a domestic shooting.

Milton police say they made the discovery inside an Eliot Street apartment after a woman allegedly shot her boyfriend. According to court records, Jacqueline Scott is now charged with assault to murder a person over the age of 60 and firearms charges.

The police report says Scott admitted to investigators she pulled the trigger, allegedly telling officers, "I shot him."

Police say Scott claimed to be motivated by "jealousy" believing her boyfriend was seeing another woman. Neighbors at the Milton Hill House on Eliot Street told police the gunfire woke them in the middle of the night, some reported hearing three loud bangs.

Police identify the victim as 63-year-old Patrick Mullaney. FOX25 News has confirmed that Mullaney is an assistant clerk magistrate in the Boston Municipal Court Department. Magistrates can oversee some minor legal hearings.

Neighbors say Mullanney is also a firearms instructor, but they told us off camera that they didn't know he had dozens of weapons in his apartment.

Police say they are seeking help from the ATF to review the legality of all the weapons and that there could be additional charges. The investigation on the origin/licensing of all the weapons will take some time, according to police.

Meanwhile we are working to get an update on Mullaney's condition.
