60-year-old man dies in rollover crash on Route 6 in Yarmouth

YARMOUTH, Mass. — State Police say a West Yarmouth man died in a single-car crash on Route 6 in Yarmouth Thursday morning.

Police responded around 5:30 a.m. to Route 6 eastbound, near exit 6, and found a 2013 Ford Escape on its roof in the median, State Police said in a news release.

Police identified Paul Lowney, 60, of West Yarmouth as the only victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A preliminary investigation suggests he lost control of his car and rolled over onto the median.

State Police said the crash remains under investigation.
