3 rescued after boat overturned off Provincetown

PROVINCETOWN, Mass. — Three people were rescued off the coast of Provincetown after their boat overturned.

Friday afternoon, the owner of a 14-foot aluminum boat reported to the Coast Guard that he had lent his boat to three people and one of them had called him to say the boat flipped.

A Coast Guard crew made their way to the boat's approximate location and found two men in life jackets and one woman clinging to an inflatable in the water. The boat had already sank.

None of them were injured, though they were chilled.
