Woman missing from East Bridgewater found alive

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Christine Silva, the 29-year-old woman who was missing from East Bridgewater since overnight Saturday, has been found alive, according to an announcement from Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz.

The announcement came from Cruz's official Twitter account at 3:58 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Before being found, Silva was last seen leaving a home at 1652 Plymouth Street in East Bridgewater around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

A relative of Silva asked police to do a well-being check on her on Saturday, but officials were unable to make contact.

Silva is approximately 5-foot-3 with blonde hair and blue eyes. Before she went missing, she was last seen wearing a black jacket and yoga pants when she was leaving the home.

Anyone with information on Silva’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office at 508-923-4014 or the East Bridgewater Police at 508-378-7223.
