BOSTON - Two men have been arrested in Boston hours after police learned of a shooting in Roxbury.
Around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, Boston Police were called to Annunciation Road in Roxbury where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers found several shell casings and other evidence in the area. They also learned the description of a suspect vehicle seeing fleeing the scene after the shooting.

Hours later, just after 9 p.m., police saw a vehicle matching the description given earlier. Police stopped the vehicle and ordered both men inside to get out of the vehicle. Police performed a pat frisk and searched the vehicle where they found a partially loaded handgun with an obliterated serial number hidden under an unoccupied car seat.
Both men, identified as 20-year-old Antonio Williams of Roxbury and 24-year-old Rafael Pena of Boston, were taken into custody.
Williams and Pena are charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a large capacity feeding device and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
