19-year-old dies after motorcycle accident in New Hampshire

SOUTH HAMPTON, N.H. — A young man from Massachusetts died in a motorcycle crash in South Hampton, New Hampshire, on Saturday afternoon, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Dakota Chaisson, 19, of West Newbury, Massachusetts, was riding a 2001 Kawasaki ZX6 northbound on Route 150 around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. According to a preliminary investigation, he lost control and was ejected from his motorcycle.

Chaisson was brought to the Seabrook emergency room where he died.

Based on witnesses and evidence at the scene, speed was a factor in the crash, according to the State Police’s report. However, the crash remains under investigation by New Hampshire State Police.

Route 150 southbound was closed for roughly two hours after the crash.
