12-year-old boy hit by car in Truro, hospitalized

A St. Louis police officer is accused of driving a van too roughly to punish two prisoners, court documents claim.

TRURO, Mass. — A 12-year-old boy in Truro was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in the town Sunday evening, according to local police.

The victim was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment, where he remains at this time. The incident occurred on Old County Road in Truro just after 4 p.m.

Police are still investigating the incident.
