1 dead in Haverhill crash

HAVERHILL, Mass. — One person has died in a crash in Haverhill Saturday night.

Massachusetts State Police responded to High Street in Haverhill around 10:45 p.m. Saturday. Police say a Jeep Cherokee was driving on High Street when the driver lost control, side-swiped an unoccupied parked car and rear-ended another unoccupied parked car.

The Jeep rolled backward until coming to a final stop against a handicapped parking sign. The driver was taken to Holy Family where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the driver possibly suffered a medical incident before the crash. The crash is under investigation.

The driver has not been identified.
