Tractor-trailer filled with Corona rolls over on I-95 north in Newton

NEWTON, Mass. — A tractor-trailer rollover on Interstate 95 north in Newton, near exit 22, closed two lanes early Friday and caused major delays for commuters.

Weston Fire said in a tweet that one person was extricated from the crash using the Jaws of Life and photos show a highway sign resting on the cab of the truck.

Just after 5 p.m., officials announced the scene was clear and all lanes were reopened.

It appears the truck may have been transporting Corona Extra. Bottles of beer were seen scattered among cases stamped with Corona. It's the second rollover in less than two days involving a truck carrying cases of alcohol. A tractor-trailer carrying Fireball Whisky rolled over in Westborough Thursday afternoon.
