Red Sox one win away from World Series after Game 4 win in ALCS over Astros

For the first time since 2013, the Red Sox are one win away from a spot in the World Series after their Game 4 win in the American League Championship Series against the Astros.

The Red Sox got out to an early lead in Game 4, jumping ahead with a 2-0 start in the first inning.

A close call on a ball launched from Jose Altuve to right field looked like it was about to put the Red Sox in a tough spot early on, but fan interference with Mookie Betts changed the entire game with Altuve called out on the play.

Jackie Bradley Jr. smashed another home run after his clutch grand slam in Game 3, helping the Red Sox once again in a big moment.

The Red Sox pulled ahead 8-5 in the eighth inning, and gave themselves enough breathing room to close out the game with an 8-6 win after the Astros added one of their own in the eighth.

Craig Kimbrel held off a late charge in the ninth to close things out for the Red Sox.
