Mansfield and St Bernards are high school Superbowl Champions

DEDHAM — For our final Boston 25 High School Gameday game of the week this season we are featuring two different high school Superbowls played from this Friday night.

Both the Division 8 and Division 2 championships were decided at Gillette Stadium in what kicked off High School Superbowl weekend in Foxboro.

In the Division 2 Superbowl the Mansfield Hornets beat Lincoln Sudbury 41-0.  Like they did all seasons the Hornets were led by a balanced attack.  Qback Jack Mousette threw a TD pass to Everett Knowlton.  Mansfields other five touchdowns were all scored on the ground.  Nick Marciano and Ethan Thevernot each ran for a score and Vinnie Holmes ran for three touchdowns.

In the Divsion 8 Superbowl, St.Bernarnds beats West Bridgewater 30-8 for back to back state championships.  St Bernards came into this game with their tiny 26 man roster and just took it to the Wildcats.  The Bernardians were led by their balanced rushing attack.  Nico Mancini ran for two touchdowns and Tyler Thibodeau rushed for the clinching score.
