Victim in East Boston stabbing dies, search continues for suspects

BOSTON — Boston Police say the person who was stabbed on Chelsea Street in East Boston over the weekend has died.

Just before 2 a.m. Sunday, police were called to Chelsea Street in Eastie for a reported stabbing. There, they found a man suffering from a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died Wednesday.

The victim's name has not been released.

Earlier this week, Boston Police released surveillance photos of a man and two women seen near Medallo Bar. They are asking for help identifying them and are looking to speak with them for information. Police say they are not suspects in the stabbing.
