The front of the jerseys reads "H-Town" and the Rockets label is printed in the same font used by NASA and looks like an astronaut identification tag, KTRK reported.

Other features include an American flag on the beltline to celebrate national pride, NBA.com reported. Side panels of the jerseys are inspired by the 1960s Gemini program, the precursor for the Apollo moon landings that began in 1969.

The collar has the number "2," which signifies the number of NBA titles won by the Rockets, and the vertical panels on the shorts are inspired by a rocket launch, KTRK reported.

The new jerseys go on sale Nov. 27, the television station reported. The "City Edition" uniforms will be for every Saturday game, and players will don the new look Nov. 30, when the Rockets host the Atlanta Hawks, NBA.com reported.
