LOS ANGELES — Jessica Simpson is a mom for the third time!
The fashion entrepreneur and singer gave birth to a daughter named Birdie Mae Johnson Tuesday in Los Angeles. She announced the news in an Instagram post.
Birdie weighed 10 pounds, 13 ounces. Reportedly, Birdie is a family name on Simpson's side.
The black-and-white photo shows big sister Maxwell Drew, 6, holding her youngest sibling’s hand.
A representative for the singer confirmed the news to People Wednesday.
Birdie is the third child for Simpson, 38, and her husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, 39. They are also parents to son Ace Knute, 5.
Simpson announced her pregnancy with the help of her children in a September Instagram post. She also confirmed she was expecting a baby girl.
The couple started dating in 2010 and were married four years later.
