Survey says this is the favorite Christmas cookie of people in Mass. & N.H.

Gingerbread is the Christmas cookie of choice for people in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, according to a new survey.

Gingerbread cookies only won over six states in total.

The majority of the country prefers sugar cookies with frosting and chocolate chip cookies.

Other cookies that made the list were snickerdoodle, gingersnap and shortbread.

For the survey, House Method asked 4,580 Americans last month to pick their favorite Christmas cookie.
