Stray bullet pierces through window at Boston Police headquarters

BOSTON — A stray bullet made its way through a third-floor window at the Boston Police headquarters in Roxbury.

Shortly before 7 p.m., multiple shots were fired in the neighborhood, where one flew through the back of the police headquarters.

Investigators spend hours searching through the area around the building, taking pictures of the shattered glass and damage inside the third-floor room.

At this point, it is still unclear where the bullet came from.

Behind the building sits the Southwest Corridor Park, a place where many people walk and bike around. There are also apartments beyond the park.

No arrests have been made so far.

Police continue to investigate this incident.
