RANDOLPH, Mass. — Randolph Police are looking for a man in connection with an early morning shooting that left a worker at a gas station seriously injured.
Police arrived at a Mobil gas station at 1245 North Main St. just after 1 a.m. Sunday after a report of a shooting. They learned that two men had an altercation inside the gas station. Once the suspect left, he shot three times into the building and struck the other man.
"You could hear, it was like three pops, and we were like, 'uh what just happened?'" said Annie Chisholm, a neighbor. "I was trying to figure out what was going on with them. I wanted to make sure he was okay, that was my first thought."
They're looking for a man in his mid to late 20s wearing a light blue baseball hat, a grey Nike sweatshirt reading "Just Do It," jeans and white sneakers with black laces.
The suspect fled the gas station in a 2007 grey Honda Accord, which was found unoccupied later in Dorchester.
The victim was brought to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
