Paper Store says thief targeting its stores has nabbed $20K in merchandise

NASHUA, N.H. — The Paper Store is searching for someone they say is targeting their stores for robberies.

According to a spokesperson for the company, seven locations have been robbed in a 170-mile radius and the robberies have resulted in a loss of more $20,000.

Each of the stores appears to have been targeted for Vera Bradley Products.

Stores in Hadley, MA; Millbury, MA; Milford, CT; Glastonbury, CT; Nashua, NH; North Nashua, NH; and North Haven, CT were all hit.

The company says it is offering a $500 VIP Shopping Experience at The Paper Store to the person who provides information that leads to the arrest.

A spokesperson says two videos provided by the store show a woman walk into a store and spend time ‘shopping’ before loading a bag with merchandise, throwing some clothes over her shoulder, and allegedly walking out of the store without paying.
