New Hampshire authorities say a man rescued from a burning home later died at a hospital.
Fire Marshal Paul Parisi said crews in Merrimack found the fire after responding to calls reporting a smell of smoke in the area. They rescued the man Thursday morning from the home, but he succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

The man's name wasn't released and there was no word on what might have caused the fire.
