BARNSTABLE, Mass. — Another day, another shark sighting. And a warning from police to use caution.
The Barnstable Police Department said a great white shark was spotted off Barnstable Harbor Friday morning.
They are warning beachgoers to use caution on all northside beaches., including Sandy Neck and Millway Beach.
In Barnstable, if a seal is spotted near any of the public beaches they will keep people out of the water until the seal is gone for at least 30 minutes.

The sighting comes after two beaches were closed Thursday after sharks were sighted in Cape Cod.
A shark was seen in the waters off Race Point Beach in Provincetown Thursday afternoon. Video shows the shark feeding on a seal near the shore.
Meadow Beach in Truro was also closed when several sharks were spotted in the water.
On Wednesday, a 61-year-old man from New York was bitten by a shark in the waters off Long Nook Beach in Truro.
