Court to consider danger posed by man accused in fatal hammer attack

PAXTON, Mass. — The man accused of beating his mother and two brothers with a hammer is heading back to court.

Alexander Asia, 24, is being held without bail after his brother died in the attack.

He is scheduled for a dangerousness hearing Monday.

Investigators say he attacked his family with a hammer last Sunday at their home on Monticello Drive in Paxton.

Asia's mother and another brother were seriously injured.
