BROCKTON, Mass. — The Brockton Fire Department had a busy day, with three responses in a short span of time on Monday.
One squad responded to a car fire in a garage after the vehicle struck a box on North Main Street.

In addition to the first incident, firefighters responded to a mattress fire, and also dealth with a chair fire that burned in a homeless encampment.
