BPD: 17-year-old arrested with loaded gun at traffic stop

BOSTON — A 17-year-old from Randolph was arrested with a loaded gun by Boston Police, according to the department.

The Youth Violence Strike Force stropped a car in Dorchester for a traffic infraction, which was not specified, and said they found a loaded gun in the floor of the backseat.

The teen sitting in the backseat where the gun was found was arrested.

The 17-year-old is due in court to faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded gun and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
