Boston pizzeria best in country, Boston travel company says

BOSTON — A Boston pizzeria has beaten out New York and New Haven competitors to be named the best in the nation, according to TripAdvisor.

The Needham-based company released a list of its top pizza joints Tuesday and Regina Pizzeria topped the list.

The North End pizza joint has been around since 1926 and regularly draws a crowd that will line up around the block to grab a slice. %

"The Giambotta" is their signature, according to Trip Advisor. It comes with sausage, salami, mushrooms, peppers, onions, basil and mozzarella cheese.

Two New York City spots made the list and one in New Haven, Connecticut earned accolades.

As for overall pizza cities, New York took that prize and Boston landed at number seven.
