Kiefer Sutherland 'seriously injured,' postpones European show dates

Kiefer Sutherland, the actor best known for playing Jack Bauer in "24," has postponed three European tour dates after falling and getting injured.

CTV News reported that the actor, who also sings with Kiefer Sutherland Band, is in Europe promoting his second album, "Reckless & Me."

"Sadly I slipped on the steps of the bus whilst travelling to Denmark and seriously injured a rib, making it difficult to breath and impossible to sing," Sutherland said in an Instagram post Thursday. "Regretfully, I will not be able to perform the last 3 shows of our tour, but have every intension of making up these shows up in September / October when we return. I am so sorry for any inconvenience that I have cause to the fans who have bought tickets. I will do everything I can to make it up to you."

Sutherland's latest album was released in April. Fox News reported that he started his tour in support of the record in May in Austin, Texas. His debut album, "Down in a Hole," was released in 2016.
