A patient at Boston Children’s Hospital helps create a special blanket collection for a good cause

BOSTON — An 8-year-old girl from Maine is making a big impact after she helped create a one-of-a-kind blanket collection for a really good cause.

ChappyWrap, a New England-based, female-founded, blanket company asked 8-year-old Hanna, who receives treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital, if she wanted to help them design a limited-edition blanket collection to spread comfort to everyone, everywhere.

ChappyWrap worked closely with Hanna to create a special blanket collection aligned with her interests -- outer space and the sea!

ChappyWrap blankets provide so much comfort to families and kids undergoing treatment and spending a lot of time in hospitals so this collaboration with a patient like Hanna is a very special one.

Hanna was diagnosed with a gene mutation at 4 years old when her mother sensed something was wrong after she fell down constantly, couldn’t hold her body upright for normal lengths of time, and got tired quickly.

Hanna, a bright and creative little girl, continues to grow stronger as she sees specialists in genetics and neuromuscular and works with occupational and physical therapists.

Hanna’s blanket collection launched on November 9 30% of sales from this collection will go back to the hospital to benefit their Every Child Fund.
